Bob Sterling
Bob Sterling has been appointed to the boards of several organisations, including industry associations and both private and public companies, holding positions of director, company secretary and board chairman.
Bob has been focused on project management for the past 10 years. As a Project Director, Bob has undertaken projects in business integration, accounting systems, information technology, financial services, specialised building fitout including call centres & communications systems and engineering related projects including automotive applications, card payment systems and electronics for the security industry, both in Australia and overseas.
Prior to establishing his own consultancy company, Sterling Consulting Pty Ltd, Bob was a senior manager for an Australian public company. Over a 25-year period Bob participated in management development training and undertook both internal and external assignments acquiring knowledge and experience in both company management and corporate structures, including change management and the more complex aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Bob held positions as an operational manager, engineering manager and technology manager, working closely with marketing to take many products and systems from inception to commercialisation.
Bob is a Certified Practising Project Director, holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and has completed the AICD Company Directors Course.
